Your initial consultation is on us! We proudly offer a 100% complimentary initial evaluation and consultation. We understand that each patient’s treatment is different and we are committed to giving you the personal attention you deserve.
You (or your child) will be given a thorough oral exam and assessment. Dr. Jones will sit with you, answer all of your questions, and explain the process and treatment duration. Jones Family Orthodontics is proud to accommodate Spanish-speaking patients! We offer our forms, texting and website in Spanish, and have Spanish-speaking team members in the office.
Your First Visit
We make every effort to provide a fun, friendly and caring environment for our patients at Jones Family Orthodontics. We look forward to getting to know each of our patients and creating beautiful, healthy smiles. Our relationship starts at your first appointment.
We realize that orthodontic treatment involves an investment of both time and finances. Therefore, we offer each new patient a complimentary one-hour exam.
What To Expect
- When you first arrive at our office, you will be greeted by one of our team members, who will ensure we have all of the necessary information. For your convenience, our new patient forms are online so that they can be filled out prior to your appointment.
- Our patient care coordinator will provide you with an introduction to our office and take you on a tour of our facility.
- For most patients, we will take a complimentary digital panoramic x-ray, which gives Dr. Jones important information about your teeth.
- We will review your health history with you and discuss any concerns and goals that you may have for your teeth and bite.
- Dr. Jones will complete a comprehensive exam of the teeth, bite, and face. He will discuss his findings as well as any current or future treatment recommendations.
- We will discuss the orthodontic appliances that may be used in your treatment, the estimated length of treatment time, and the financial investment involved as well as the payment options we offer in our office.
- You will be able to schedule appointments right away, or you can take the information home to review so you can make an informed decision about your orthodontic treatment.
- We will also help coordinate appointments with your general dentist or other dental specialists that may be part of your care.
For some new patients, the timing may not be right for us to begin your orthodontic care. If this is the case, we will help you understand what might be recommended in the future and when. We will help you schedule future appointments to monitor your growth and tooth development until the time is ideal to begin orthodontic treatment.
Insurance and Financing
Financing
We don’t believe in any hidden costs in your orthodontic care, and we offer several payment options to help make orthodontic treatment affordable. Our most popular payment option is our convenient In-Office Payment Plan, which has a low down payment, and no-interest monthly payments for the term of your orthodontic care when we set you up on automatic direct debit. If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a courtesy discount. (If you have insurance, we will offer a discount on the payment of your portion of the fee that will not be covered by insurance.) We are sensitive to the fact that people have different needs in fulfilling their financial obligations, and we do our best to work with each patient to make this process easy.
Insurance
If you have insurance, we will help you determine the coverage you have available, and we will do our best to answer any insurance questions you may have. We also accept the assignment of benefits from most insurance plans and file the necessary papers to the insurance company to maximize your orthodontic benefits.
